The Street Team
The street team is a vital part of who we are at Elk Creek Church. It’s in our DNA. We hit the streets to show God’s love to people in practical ways. The street team can often be seen handing out bottled water, washing cars, or buying a complete stranger a cup of coffee. We believe that if Jesus was here today in the flesh, he would be doing these kinds of things for people.
When we show love in practical ways, we are planting seeds that God will use to draw people to himself. By showing love first in practical ways, people are often interested in knowing why we do what we do. We often get opportunities to listen to people who have hurts and real questions about life & God. We then share our story with them and invite them to come to church or one of our small groups.
